About Apiaggregator
A Central Hong Kong practice focused on statutory reporting checks before filings leave the ledger.
Why we exist
Filing seasons in Hong Kong compress quickly once the financial year closes. Company secretaries wait on drafts; boards want comfort that notes match the story they will sign. Apiaggregator was formed to sit in that narrow window — examining statutory reporting packs with the patience of a reviewer, not the agenda of a bookkeeping firm.
How we began
The practice grew out of repeated year-end reviews for private trading and holding companies around Central and Kowloon. Partners kept seeing the same late discoveries: related-party notes that lagged reality, cash-flow classifications that did not tie, and directors’ reports that still described discontinued operations. We organised those checks into a repeatable engagement rather than ad-hoc favours between busy seasons.
Who you meet
Mei Ling Chow leads statutory reporting reviews. She has spent more than a decade reading Hong Kong private-company accounts, with particular attention to SME framework disclosures and directors’ report consistency.
Daniel Ng focuses on group consolidations and intercompany eliminations. He previously supported multi-entity holding structures with subsidiaries in Hong Kong and the Mainland.
Priya Raman runs disclosure readiness sessions. She works with controllers who need note wording tightened before an audit committee or lender pack is circulated.
Working approach
We read what you send, ask precise questions, and write findings that a company secretary can act on. We do not market vague “assurance journeys.” Each engagement has a defined pack, a review window, and a clearance memo. When something sits outside our remit — tax filings, full audit opinions, or litigation support — we say so early.
Values in practice
- Specificity — Comments cite the note, line, or schedule, not general concern.
- Filing awareness — Timelines respect Companies Registry and board meeting dates you share with us.
- Independence of role — We review reporting presentation; we do not replace your statutory auditor.
Hong Kong context
Our office is at Wheelock House, 20 Pedder Street, Central. Most work is document-based with clarification calls; larger consolidations may include attendance at your finance floor on Hong Kong Island or in Kowloon.
