Refund and cancellation policy
When fees for statutory reporting engagements may be refunded, reduced, or retained.
This policy applies to professional engagements with Apiaggregator for statutory reporting checks and related services described on this site. It does not cover retail product sales; we do not sell physical goods through the website.
Refund eligibility
Fees may be refundable in whole or in part when:
- You cancel in writing before we commence substantive review of your documents, subject to the deposit rules below
- We cancel the engagement for reasons within our control and a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed
- A duplicate payment is received in error
Timeframe to request a refund
Submit refund requests in writing to info@apiaggregator.digital within 14 days of the invoice date or cancellation date, whichever is later, unless the engagement letter sets a different period.
Full or partial refunds
- Full refund of amounts paid if cancellation occurs before document review begins and no kickoff call has been held
- Partial refund if work has started: we deduct fees for hours already performed at the rates implied by the engagement letter, plus reasonable administrative cost
- No refund of the commencement deposit once substantive review of drafts has begun, except where we are in material breach
Non-refundable items
- Commencement deposits after substantive review has started
- Fees for completed disclosure readiness sessions (half-day or full-day) after the session date has passed
- Third-party costs we incurred with your prior written approval (for example courier of original documents)
Refund process and timing
Email info@apiaggregator.digital with your engagement reference, reason for the request, and payment details used. We confirm eligibility within five business days and, where approved, process refunds within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a disclosure readiness session once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice. Shorter notice may forfeit 50% of the session fee. For multi-week reporting reviews, rescheduling requires mutual written agreement because review slots are reserved against filing calendars.
Deposits and no-shows
Engagements above the threshold stated on the fees page ordinarily require a 40% commencement deposit. Failure to provide agreed drafts within 30 days of the scheduled start, without communication, may be treated as cancellation with the deposit retained.
Work already started
Once we have issued a first comment log or held a kickoff call with document access, fees reflect work performed. You remain entitled to deliverables produced up to the cancellation date.
Exceptions
If an engagement letter expressly overrides this policy, the engagement letter prevails. Statutory filing deadlines missed because drafts were delivered late by the client are not grounds for a fee refund.
